The great American Cowboy

Last year for Todd's 50th birthday, I made this quilt. then sent it to my sister Dawn who has a long arm quilting business: The Dawn of Quilting
I thought she did a beautiful job quilting it.
Todd thinks it's pretty cool too.

Mom and Dad's 59th Anniversary

We got together Monday night to celebrate Mom and Dad's 59th Anniversary!  Dawn and Doug were up from Rapid and Dustin LaRue and Faith had flown in from Arizona, so it was a full house.
Here are a few shots from that night.
Faith played some Christmas carols on mom's old Ukulele while Dustin accompanied on his iPad. The old and the new mixing. Was fun to have someone other than me playing. And Faith can play the Uke in more than one key!! (unlike me, who's only learned the chords in the key of C so far. ha ha)
 The whole gang.
 The Shaw family
 The Diehl's
 Us five siblings.
I cropped this off one of the pictures, as I was taking a light reading. This was just too precious not to save.  Mommy giving her little sweetie a kiss.

Wanted for making beautiful Music- The Peterson Family

On Sunday, I had so much fun with the Peterson family taking some family photos. It was cold and snowy but I think that just added to the 'charm' of the pictures (except for the cold part).  I wish my pictures could actually play the beautiful music they played while I shot the pictures.

One of North Dakota's most talented musical families.

 Too cute for words.

Mom, it won't be long till they're all grown up!

Busted!! This should be on a Wanted poster! Wanted for beautiful music!! And no, the police didn't run them out, actually it was a lovely concert of Jingle Bells.  Like caroling with instruments. Awesome!
