Kleppe Family Session

Met this very nice family last week, and had a fun time capturing some moments with them. You guys were a lot of fun to work with and I hope everyone enjoyed the ice cream following! We were right behind you in the drive up.

Kristi's 9th Grade pictures and my lesson of the day

Every time I shoot a photo session I feel I learn something. But todays lesson was costly. I learned how very valuable my daughter's assistance is to me, and how much she does. Since I was shooting her, I had to  do her job too. Needless to say, I made a big error, and didn't watch where my portable battery pack was when I went to move my light. I dropped it, and broke it.  Thankfully it still works, but now has to be gaffer taped together. Thank you Kristi for all you do for me.  You're a much better VAL than I am.
Here's a few pictures from our short session.

We chuckled at her farmers tan. But she says she's quite proud of it, cause that means she's done a lot of mowing for me this summer. Thanks Kristi you rock!! Or at least you're sitting by a rock. :-)

My 2011 Kelley's Camera Brochure

A few people have asked me for a brochure, and I'm currently out of paper copies, and don't want to reprint till after we move, so I can update contact information. So I thought I'd post it here on my blog. This of course is a trifold brochure.
These are my prices for 2011.
Thanks for stopping by.
Kelley
Sorry this is kind of big, but if I posted it the size of my normal photos you could not read it. So it's kind of BIG, for my blog layout.

Weigel Family

Had a blast with the Weigel family last night, shooting some family pictures.  Here's a couple of teasers from our time together last night.
You guys were a lot of fun!!

Great crop of kids and corn.
I had really hoped for a beautiful ND sunset last night, and had imagined all this wonderful color behind them, but alas, Mother Nature gave us a sky that was so clear, there was hardly even any blue.  Guess we were given almost a "high key" white back drop instead. I added a little white vignette to look like they were in the clouds just for fun.
Just as we were finishing up and walking back to the house, I snapped this photo.
Thanks guys for a very fun evening.

Senior- Kaitlin

On Saturday, I had a blast with this Senior and her mom. Kaitlin, you're a doll.
Here's a few 'teasers' of her pictures.

I had this great idea to do the year in chalk, but I think I was half asleep when I started drawing the year out. I put down 200 then realized I'd goofed, we had to go get water, clean the side walk, then wait for it to dry, then start over drawing 12.  I had to laugh at myself, like oops, big time. I think my mind was back a few years, 200?.

Kaitlin wanted to use this beautiful old chair that has been in her family for over 200 years. I loved it.
I really wanted to get a beautiful sunset picture. Unfortunately we weren't given one of those WOW sunsets, but it still looked so pretty with this pretty girl in front of it.

Senior - Brianna

Shot this beautiful young lady's pictures on Monday afternoon. Really had a fun time with her and her mom, sister and grandma.
These shoes were just too fun not to get in several shots. But how do you walk in them?

 This is my favorite shot!!
 Like how fun!

Senior -David

Met this very nice young man and was privileged to shoot his Senior Pictures.

My cute model and VCSU FB field

Last night Kristi again posed for me to try out some equipment.  She always looks so cute even at the spur of the moment.
 Kristi and the Uke
I love doing sunset pictures, and was testing some new equipment. Not bad shot for spur of the moment.
Was at VCSU today. They are laying the new turf on the football field and was working on the Viking Logo. He was a little off centered, so they were adjusting it, while I was there. Very interesting watching them move it around.
 PULL!!! Grunt!! Pull!!
Some extra 'turf' on the track.

Tulsa Trip

Just a few pictures from our trip to Tulsa.  It was so hot, I really didn't go out and shoot much, the AC kept calling my name.
This is an old wagon outside our "Bedbug Motel" in Broken Bow Neb. Don't ever stay there! ugh!! Cool old wagon though
We met up with Pricilla Starks one afternoon and went for lunch and then to her cute little apartment.  Sorry about making the lamp come out of your head Pricilla, opps.  Was so fun seeing you though!!!
Todd and I on the Rhema campus. What you don't see is the 108 degree heat that day. Oh my...
Todd outside the Prayer and Healing Center.
We drove over 3100 miles but averaged any where from 37- 41 mpg in our little Corolla, was so excited about that one!
 Mike Shoemake and Todd
Mike and Amy Shoemake our wonderful host and hostess. You guys rock!!   Thank you again and again for your wonderful hospitality. Anyone that thinks spending an evening (or two) just sitting around worshipping God and praying, as a fun time, are my kind of people!!
Boo the cat. She has the wildest eyes. They're round!!
We drove by this old fallen barn everyday on our way to Rhema, I finally had to stop and take a picture,  I just like old fallen building for some reason.
Oklahoma is not real big on having a wide shoulder on the roads. Very narrow roads, glad I had a small car.  You can see some of the trees turning brown here. This was the start of our trip home.
A view all too much seen in Oklahoma, so dry and hot the trees and grass were beginning to die.
This was the coolest Old Mansion somewhere in Kansas, we pulled over for a "nap" break and then walked around the grounds, I really wanted to go on the tour, but we would had to have waited quite a while till the next tour, so we drove on.  It was called the Brown Mansion, and I don't know any details or even remember which city it was in, but it was really beautiful. It was also over 100 degrees here too.

Kadence Sage is One month today!!

So excited to get to see Kadence again. (and of course Tyson and Sarah too) Was able to snap a few pictures (of course) of her while we were there.  So here's my one month pics of Kadence.  G'ma loves you lots!
 Our little princess

"having your picture taken is kind of boring..."

Ropin' in a good one!! Yee haw!!

 Bath time fun!!
Grampa Todd holding his sweet one.
 Look at that hair!!
When my kids were babies every month, I took a picture of them by a bear. This is the little bear we gave Kadence when she was born. Don't know if we'll get a picture of her every month with it, but here she is at one month.
 Tyson, Sarah and Kadence.
My precious little Grand baby!!
