Last weekends trip to Powers Lake

This last weekend we had so much fun up in Battle View/ Powers Lake, ND.  I shot Lee and Lex Tande's Senior pictures and had a great time visiting with their Mom and Dad.  The Tande's are wonderful friends from past years, and we had lots of catching up to do.  The weather cooperated well, and just was an over all enjoyable weekend.

I had to stand on a step stool to take their pictures, cause they are 6'3" or so. My 5'2" just didn't cut it, I felt like a total shrimp. LOL

Lee wanted his pickup all muddy so he drove it through lots of mud before this shot.  The mud was easy to find. Gumbo country!!

Senior Collage

Today I spent part of the afternoon designing a couple of different collages for one of my Seniors.  Hadn't done this before, so was kind of fun playing around with it.

 Kristi liked this one the best.

 This one above is the one they liked the best and their choice of pictures.

This one was my favorite.

Guess everyone sees things a little different. So that makes designing all the harder, cause it's all so subjective.

Senior- Ryan

Had a fun time last week shooting Ryan's Senior Pictures. Even got in a little "Mylo" entertainment as I sang to Ryan and his mom, "I milk the cows before I go to school..." Thanks Ryan and Steph for putting up with all my craziness while I was shooting.

Senior- Kaitlin

On Saturday, I had a blast with this Senior and her mom. Kaitlin, you're a doll. 

Here's a few 'teasers' of her pictures.

 I had this great idea to do the year in chalk, but I think I was half asleep when I started drawing the year out. I put down 200 then realized I'd goofed, we had to go get water, clean the side walk, then wait for it to dry, then start over drawing 12.  I had to laugh at myself, like oops, big time. I think my mind was back a few years, 200?. 

 Kaitlin wanted to use this beautiful old chair that has been in her family for over 200 years. I loved it. 

I really wanted to get a beautiful sunset picture. Unfortunately we weren't given one of those WOW sunsets, but it still looked so pretty with this pretty girl in front of it.

Senior - Brianna

Shot this beautiful young lady's pictures on Monday afternoon. Really had a fun time with her and her mom, sister and grandma. 

 These shoes were just too fun not to get in several shots. But how do you walk in them?

 Hannah is one of the Seniors I was privileged to photograph this year. She was so much fun to work with. Their yard was a photographers paradise too. Thanks Hannah for a lot of fun.
