Window

A friend told me she's doing this photo a day thing (she did it last year too) and she had just subscribed to something that will send her an inspiration of the day. Yesterday's inspiration was "Window". So here is my try on 'window'.  Didn't quite turn out like I imagined, but close.
Sun coming up in the porthole window at the farm.  The sun has been shining through the windows of this old house for over 103 years. Good to build your house on the rock (literally and figuratively) so it's still standing later to let the sunshine (sonshine) in.

quick shoot today

This morning I got a call from a young lady who wanted a portrait taken today. She's written a book and needed a picture for the bio on the back cover. So I meet with her at 1:30 and shot a few photos of her. I hope she likes them.
I decided today another pocket wizard is a must on my wish list after several miss fires with my speed light.   It was getting pretty frustrating trying to find where the line of site was for the sensor.

The Love Family

On my birthday, I got to do what I love the most. Take pictures!!
We were in Willmar, MN and had a short photo session with the Love family.  They are a wonderful family! I also found out I share my birthday with their beautiful daughter Jubilee.
So here are a few of my favorite pictures. To see the rest head to my website (kelleyscamera.com) and under families and look for the Love Family.

Happy birthday to Jubilee! What a beauty!!

Reuer Family Gathering

While in the Black Hills over New Years, we got together with Todd's family for 'Christmas'.  Dad Reuer really wanted a family picture, this is best I could do with a bunch of clowns that don't like their pictures taken.  What can I say?  LOL
The whole Reuer gang that was there.
Back row: Me (Kelley), Todd, Greg (McCool) and Dean,
Middle row: Kristi, Dad (Calvin), Georgia (McCool)
Front row: Mom (Rita), Tamara

Dean (Todd's brother) and his dog Molly. Some how this dog just doesn't look like a Molly. LOL but she's such a nice dog.
 Man's best friend.

I'm surprised you couldn't see our breath. It was COLD!!
Taken out in Dad's yard. What a view he has, I'm so jealous. Kind of like those Black Hills.
