Cute little Amelia

This adorable little girl was our neighbor when we lived out in Kintyre, but sorry to say, I really never got to know the family very well. So I was so excited when they contacted me and asked me to do Amelia's Five year old pictures.  She's also big sister to her twin brothers.  But today it was all Amelia.
Here are a couple of the photos from this afternoon shoot.
 Happy fifth birthday Amelia!!

She brought her little kitty "Molly" along and he got in on a few pictures. Yes, Molly is a boy. :-) Kind of like our Fluffy is a boy.
Amelia brought her Grandma along and we got a couple shots in with her.  This is the first time I met her, and when I realized who she was I had to say a big thanks to her, for I've used her yard for a couple of photo shoots while out in Kintyre. (yes, it was with permission, but the Seniors I was shooting had contacted her).  She has a beautiful flower garden that is a photographers paradise!
 Dancing in the pretty dress!

Just had to do a little playing and make her a little Christmas Angel.  Isn't she just a doll?!!!!
Amelia and her mom Kristi are going to be in a wedding next month, and they both wanted to wear their very pretty dresses.  You both look so beautiful!
So thank you Kristi and Amelia for such a fun afternoon, and letting me capture you smile.

McEachran Family

Tonight we had a fun session with the McEachran family at the studio.  I've gotten to know Jan a little bit as she's coworker with my sister.  What a wonderful woman of God, and her precious family.
Their daughters and grandchildren were all here for a visit so it was a great time to capture some family fun and love.

Lots of joy around with the grandkids home!

Thank you McEachran family for a fun filled time doing what I love to do.

The Other Side of the Camera

A few days ago my friend and awesome photographer Ken Yetter of Yetter Photography was pointing his camera at me!  I always feel more comfortable taking pictures than having them taken of me, but I'm  so thankful for such awesome photos.
Thank you Ken!

The above one is my favorite. What's yours?
What maybe hard to see in this photo was that it was snowing. Folks we're talking about 32 degrees here, it was COLD!! But I look hot! LOL
Kristi is the best VAL (Voice Activated Lightstand) around.  She's also an incredible daughter! I often tease Kristi that when we do a photo shoot, that she can count that as PE (weight lifting) and Art Class for our home school. Believe me folks, that light and stand is HEAVY!!
Thank you Kristi for all your help, and thanks Ken for capturing her beautiful smile.
I asked Ken to get some pictures of me "in action" of course I had the cutest model around!! See below for the photo I took.
Me and one of my Alien Bees.  Love these lights!

Ok, I really like hats, but it's hard to find one big enough for my big head! LOL!

I really like this one too, some how it says "Kelley's Camera" to me. Thanks Ken again, for capturing who I am.  Now if I can only figure out how to take off those 40 extra pounds in a photo!
The above picture of Kristi, I took, while Ken was shooting my "action shots" I really was doing it, and I thought I'd share this great shot of Kristi.
The man in action! Yah, we're both camera nuts. Thanks again Ken, for all the photos, and all your help and encouragement to me in photography.

Baby Tennessee

I had the awesome opportunity to spend some time with the little one and her mommy and big brother today.  How precious those tiny ones are!
She's just a little angel!

We really wanted to get those sleeping baby poses, but she had other ideas today. But she did fall asleep for about 10 minutes and we got a few pictures in then.

After her little nap we even got some smiles out of her.
Thank you Tennessee for a fun time. Keep being the sweetie that you are!
